½ lb bittersweet chocolate, cut up into small pieces
4 eggs, whisked together
½ tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour, sifted
Handful of chocolate chips (semisweet, milk, or others to taste)
Preheat oven to 35 degrees F.
Line a 13x9x2-inch pan with aluminum foil, leaving some overhang on smaller sides. Grease the foil with some of the butter.
Place butter, cut up, and chocolate in a large saucepan, and melt slowly, keeping an eye on it. Turn off flame. Pour in eggs, and whisk well and quickly. Add two sugars, salt and vanilla. Mix well. Add flour and chocolate chips and blend well.
Bake for about 45 minutes. Cool, then lift them out of pan using foil, and cut them into 2-inch squares. About 22-24.
